Injecting a bit of creativity into your infographics, will help liven up boring facts and show context in a more relatable and memorable way. You don't need to come to me with the creative ideas - just provide the data, and I'll come up with the solution!
This one started as a personal project — I wanted to find a way to make the scale of waste actually land, rather than just stating a number of years. Pairing everyday items like a nappy or a plastic bottle against historical reference points, a suit of armour, the Colosseum, a woolly mammoth, turns an abstract statistic into something you can genuinely picture. It becomes more relevant and easy to comprehend.
This life cycle lent itself naturally to illustration, with each distinct stage giving a clear visual anchor for the sequence. Created in watercolour and pencil
